The Skylon bar at the Royal Festival Hall in London was the venue on Wednesday for a fond industry farewell to Jo Willey, who left Cadbury this week after several years’ loyal service in the UK confectioner’s travel retail division. Many of Jo’s friends within the business were on hand to salute Sunderland’s finest over a glass or two, as the sun set over the Thames.
Among those present were several representatives from World Duty Free, which suggests there weren’t too many grudges arising from those tricky budget negotiations.
Jo is a popular figure within the trade and we are sure this is “au revoir” and not “adieu”. We look forward to reporting on her next move. Good luck Jo.
