From The Moodie Report Interim Caffè Nero (what a great coffee outlet by the way) Heathrow T2 bureau this morning, my meeting was interrupted by what sounded like a very loud barrage of Christmas carols and songs coming over the tannoy.
But no, it was the real thing as I discovered when I left to catch the tube back to HQ.
A nod to Noddy Holder; a raucous version of Shane McGowan’s all-time great Christmas song ‘Fairytale of New York’; and lots of other festive favourites. Mid-concourse in arrivals. Brilliant. Take a look at the impromptu video I shot on my iPhone. Look at the customer engagement. Heck, I nearly started singing myself but didn’t want to ruin the festive atmosphere.
Great to see Heathrow entering into the spirit of Christmas. They even found Elvis for us…
