It seems just the other day that I wrote a news story headlined ‘Advent names Julián Díaz new Dufry CEO as acquisition is completed’. In fact it was 16 years ago, on my birthday (1 March).
Since my medical travails of recent years, I am a considerably slimmed-down version of my former self, which is just as well for otherwise I might still be wedged in the lift.
Bravo Dufry. And bravo Michel for caring – if you’re reading this, I hope you consider my comments (past and present) fair and that in an admittedly different way from you, I do understand retail and I do appreciate the transformation.
