Meet the two Sunils. One (Sunil Tuli, pictured left) is among travel retail’s most engaging characters – as well as being the President of the Asia Pacific Travel Retail Association and Managing Director of King Power Travel Retail and Duty Free.
The other is the Chairman of what we believe might be the most exciting new concessionaire force in Asian travel retail – Sunil Kapur of Mumbai-based Travel Food Services, which has emerged from a standing start just a few months ago to become the most powerful food & beverage operator in the Indian airport business.
The two Sunils met during the Trinity Forum Opening Cocktail in Macau last week – co-sponsored by Sunil Kapur’s company. Both, coincidentally, also have sons named Karan. And both are certain to remain important influences in our industry for many years to come.
