Each year at The Trinity Forum, Dubai Duty Free with typical generosity offers delegates several tickets in its prize draws and the chance to win a luxury car or US$1 million.

As event moderator Dermot Davitt always points out, those lucky delegates only go into the main Dubai Duty Free prize draws rather than actually winning a car or a million dollars. The point, though, is that they’re in with a chance of carrying off one of the big prizes.

“Oh come, oh come Emmanuel,” says Ramesh as Dermot Davitt takes a sneaky peak

And would you know it, one lucky delegate from this year’s Trinity Forum in Bangkok struck it lucky a second time. Announcing the five winners in its latest round of prize draws, Dubai Duty Free noted that Mr. Emmanuel Goulin, “a French national from Hong Kong” had won a Porsche Panamera 4 (Volcano Grey Metallic).

That same French national is, of course, the Managing Director of L’Oreal Travel Retail Asia Pacific and he won his ticket on the concluding day of this year’s Trinity Forum.

This is the first time that a Dubai Duty Free prize draw at either The Trinity Forum or MEADFA has resulted in a delegate carrying off (or in this case driving away) a grand prize. So, there you have it: It pays to attend The Trinity Forum.

Since The Trinity Forum in early November, Emmanuel has been very busy rolling out Lancôme Travel Retail’s ‘Declaring Happiness’ campaign. I think we can safely declare that today, thanks to Dubai Duty Free, Emmanuel is himself full of happiness.

“I am declaring myself very happy indeed,” are Emmanuel’s likely sentiments on hearing of his grand prize
