A nice message arrived last week from Becky Edwards, daughter of Alan, that wonderful industry friend who passed away suddenly last September.
Alan’s death prompted an amazing outpouring of love and grief on the comments section of our main website. As mentioned previously, this proved of rich comfort to his mum Cynthia.
Becky asked me to pass on her own thanks: “I would just like to quickly say thank you to you Martin, and everybody who has left a kind word or anecdote about my father.
“We have read everything with amusement and smiles and have for a while wondered what to write as we don’t believe anything can truly convey how grateful we are or how it has helped to know he was so well loved.
“Dad of course would be amused to have got everyone finally in red, singing Welsh songs or that my Grandma has been mentioned on an internet Blog (he would also probably wonder what all the fuss is about!), but he would have been deeply touched.
“Thank you once again from the Edwards family.”
