It’s cold and wet here in Orlando, not what any of us expected in the Sunshine State. From The Moodie Report’s Florida Bureau, I am looking down over the Hawk’s Landing golf course, where the Philip Morris Duty Free-sponsored tournament is taking place in steady rain. For once I don’t miss being out there one bit.
In contrast with the cold on the course, the reception at the annual President’s Reception last night could not have been warmer. It was great to catch up with so many industry friends, including the remarkable Joe Lyons from DFS, one of our industry’s truly great servants.
Tonight the show really kicks off with the traditional Opening Reception. Let’s hope the weather improves.
