I’ve arrived in Bangkok, where the 2011 Trinity Forum begins on Wednesday.
My first flight in eight months behind me, I was met on arrival by the ultra-efficient Airports of Thailand and King Power teams.
Last time I was here at Suvarnabhumi Airport was when the facility opened in September 2006. It’s great to be back at this spectacular airport and to this amazing country.
Last night I had an extremely pleasant dinner with King Power International Group Senior Executive Vice President Susan Whelan and her partner, The Design Solution owner Robbie Gill. We dined (and wined) at the excellent Wine Pub here at the Pullman Bangkok King Power – well worth checking out for those many Trinity Forum delegates who plan an extended stay this week.
Now it’s down to work. My temporary Thai bureau (below) is up and running in my hotel room and it’s a matter of getting on with writing speeches, introductions and panel questions for the Trinity Forum. After months away I’m back doing the job that I love.
Welcome back Mr Moodie !
