My Interim Singapore Bureau is closed and my temporary operations have now moved to Beijing. From the spectacle of the Marina Bay Sands, I’ve now moved on to the elegance of the Four Seasons Hotel in the Chinese capital – venue for part of what promises to be an extraordinary event here today.
CDF-Sunrise Duty Free today celebrates the inauguration of eight luxury concept stores from some of the most illustrious names in beauty – Clé de Peau Beauté; Dior; Estée Lauder; Guerlain; La Mer; La Prairie; Lancôme; and Sisley – at Beijing Capital International Airport Terminal 2.
This cluster of stand-alone beauty boutiques is a first for travel retail in the Asia Pacific region. It’s a stellar line-up and the opening celebrations, both at the airport and here at the Four Seasons, are shaping up as spectacularly ambitious.
