We’re a fortunate bunch at The Moodie Report, as suppliers are generous enough to send us a wide variety of product samples, which we greatly appreciate.
Occasionally though, home offices (as opposed to head office) get sent product addressed to other members of the team, as happened last week with a rather gorgeous set of hair care/styling products from the Bumble and bumble brand (Estée Lauder), which is about to enter Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3.
The extra set which arrived at The Moodie Report’s Essex outpost was addressed to Martin Moodie who, how shall we put this, is not best known for his flowing locks.
While this journalist is usually scrupulous about sending on items that are not addressed to her, the likelihood of said Moodie attempting to use, say, Bumble and bumble Surf Spray (which aims “to rekindle summer with that sexy, wild, wind-styled texture you get after an ocean swim”) is right up there with Danny Cipriani learning how to kick. So there’s probably no point.
Bumble and bumble’s Thickening Spray is pretty darned good, but it’s no match for our great leader’s gleaming pate.
