Danish liquor dynamo Torben Vedel Andersen has launched an intriguing request via The Moodie Report Cannes Blog.
Not content with just showing off his new incarnation as Regional Director of Danzka Vodka-owner Belvedere Duty Free (part of the CL World Brands group), Andersen is seeking silver padlocks. And he needs them fast.
His funky new Sobieski Vodka presentation is enclosed in a stainless steel cage (“It’s designed to keep your mother away from it,” explains the ebullient Torben) which requires a small silver-coloured padlock with keys. And he cannot find a supplier anywhere. All the padlocks in the world appear to be gold.
If anyone knows who can supply such an item, please hot-foot the details to Green Village J46. Torben needs it teraz. That means “right now” in Polish, where Sobieski vodka hails from.
