If you watch one video of our industry this year, I suggest you make it this one. It comes from the team at Bangalore International Airport Ltd (BIAL) and tells the remarkable story of Anushree, a Shift Lead at the acclaimed Hatti Kaapi food & beverage business.
“Anushree, the remarkable story of a woman. A story of hard work, sacrifices, commitment and passion of an unsung hero at the #BLRairport,” says BIAL. A simple, unadorned and perfectly expressed tribute to the young woman featured in this video.
I’m grateful to BIAL Chief Operating Officer Thomas Hoff Andersson for introducing me to this quietly moving film. Thomas says it is the first video featuring the unsung heroes of Bangalore International Airport Ltd. Its subject, Anushree, was recently named BIAL’s Pinnacle Woman of the Year 2019.
“It’s a remarkable and very inspiring journey by Anushree,” says Thomas. “My total respect and admiration.”
Ours too Thomas. Not just for Anushree (who we will now feature in the upcoming edition of The Front Line in The Moodie Davitt e-Zine – a column dedicated to front line heroes all over the airport world) but to you and the team at BIAL for creating such a programme and nurturing it, and to Hatti Kaapi for giving this young woman a chance and then recognising and rewarding her talent.
