“It shows a new day, a new world, a positivity – and that’s what Unforgiveable represents.”
The words of US music megastar Sean Combs rang out over a jam-packed industry gathering at the Majestic Hotel last night to celebrate the launch of the star’s debut men’s fragrance, Unforgivable, created in partnership with The Estée Lauder Companies.
“We have made history in the US,” he said. “You have never seen someone so young and a man of colour being so involved with a fragrance.”
Combs describes the south of France as “one of the sexiest places in the world”. It certainly lived up to that billing last night – not just with his own super chilled presence but his coterie of four drop-dead gorgeous female models wearing rather less than the standard Majestic dress code.
The combination of the scantily clad quartet and the packed room had many a male delegate mopping their brows. But not all. “I am only here to see Sean Combs not look at the ladies,” said Aer Rianta International industry legend Liam Skelly with his usual dapper grace.
