Of all the industry ‘Oscars’ handed out at the annual Frontier Awards in Cannes last night, none was more popular with the audience than that received by Premier Portfolio.
The UK company, owned by Andrew Webster (pictured right) and Kevin Walsh (second from right), has thrived in recent years thanks to a combination of innovative products and some of the most popular, hard-working executives in the business.
The delight on the faces of Andrew Webster and Kevin Walsh – and colleagues Trevor Horwood (second from left) and Garry Maxwell (left) – was there for all to see last night. This year’s TFWA World Exhibition is the 21st for Webster and he said “This is the best anniversary present I could ever hope for”.
An equally ecstatic Kevin Walsh told The Moodie BLOG: “It was fantastic. We thought we had no chance whatsoever. We’re here for the long term; we’re putting loads of investment back into product and innovation. It’s fantastic, absolutely fantastic.”
Indeed it was. Forget the old adage – last night’s award was testament that nice guys actually do come first.
This should help the boys get out a bit more, they are too introvert and shy.

Fantastic result, I’m so pleased for you. It couldnt have gone to nicer people. Long live the independent operators.
