Germany company Braun, synonymous with excellent products, is generally under-stated in its press releases so The Moodie Blog’s attention was drawn to the bold claims for the new Braun Satin Hair 5 Multistyler.

Now it has to be said that The Moodie Report Publisher has not had to shop around for any sort of hair product for a decade or three.

My barber kindly charges me by the hair and I still come out with change from a ten pound note. Instead of a comb I use a flannel and I avoid wearing turtleneck sweaters in case I’m mistaken for a roll-on deodorant. I console myself with lame retorts like ‘grass doesn’t grow on a busy street’, though that street has turned into an eight-lane highway down the years.

But perhaps salvation is at hand for those few lonely locks that remain?

Key to the Multistyler, you see, is the ‘Curl Shaper Technology’, a specially designed area with smooth sides and a ‘cooling rib’ on the top and bottom sections.

The ‘forming of hair’ is achieved by gently heating it between the plates, giving it a new form by moving it over the extra smooth edges and then allowing it to cool down.

This allows for “perfectly defined, smooth curls and creates beautiful looks in one stroke for any hair length”, according to Braun. Also, as the hair is not exposed to heat as long as when using common curlers, it looks beautiful and healthy, Braun commented.

Again, I have not used common curlers for a while – in fact any form of curlers. But if I can get “perfectly defined, smooth curls and beautiful looks in one stroke for any hair length” then I’m in.

I’m ordering my Braun Satin Hair 5 Multistyler today. I shall report on progress.
