And so another Trinity Forum has come to an end. Each event has its own challenges, its own character. The Mumbai edition will live long in the memories of all who attended for the ceaseless exuberance and warmth of the hospitality on offer, as well as the quality of the Forum debate.

We’ll report on the latter in coming days. As I write this Blog at daybreak on a cool Autumn morning in London, a big part of my soul is still back in India with our hosts Mumbai International Airport Ltd/GVK and with airport lounge operator Travel Food Services, who between them created a dazzling, unforgettable Indian experience.

The host’s Bollywood-themed Gala Dinner concert, featuring some of India’s top Bollywood stars, was a riot of colour, music and dance. And Sunil Kapur’s Travel Food Services added flavour in every sense to the event. It hosted Trinity’s first-ever ‘After Party’ post the Opening Cocktail at The Irish House, one of a chain of Indian/Irish pubs it has opened in the country. And it treated delegates to an extraordinary culinary, cultural and artistic experience at the GVK Lounge at the airport (which it runs in partnership with Performa) on departure (pictured below).

after-partyMemory upon memory. For now, pressured as I am to complete our Cannes print edition (with unfortunate timing TFWA World Exhibition takes place just two weeks after The Trinity Forum this year), I will keep the words short and let the pictures tell the story. And what a story it is.

Incredible India indeed. Mumbai we will never forget you. Mumbai we will return. To our hosts, friends and mentors of the past few days, we say thank you.
