Our recent report on Brian Collie’s newly hirsute look in the cause of charity has brought forth news of a similar growth initiative by another leading industry figure.
As mentioned, the McArthurGlen Luxury Retail Chairman (and former BAA Group Retail Director) is participating in a fantastically innovative fund-raising campaign to combat the scourge of prostate cancer.
Brian is taking part in MOvember – formerly known as November – the MOnth when men grow MOustaches to try to raise MOney for research into prostate cancer, one of the biggest killers of men worldwide.
MOvember, described as an annual, month-long celebration of the MOustache, last year raised more than US$23 million around the world.
Now Brian is being joined by Mark Riches, CEO of WDF, who is giving the campaign added MOmentum by letting his facial hair flourish for the month. With a (great) PA called Mo (Joseph) – I kid you not – helping the fund-raising effort, how can he fail?
Mark is pictured below breaking the story exclusively to The MOodie Blog.
With his typically bristling approach, Mark is looking forward to driving business at WDF’s latest new speciality store at Heathrow T4 – rumoured to have been renamed as World of Whiskery.
