Now that’s more like it…
We kick off our grand Cannes tour 2007 at London Heathrow Terminal One, en route to the French Riviera and the greatest duty free show on earth – TFWA World Exhibition. And what a great place T1 is to be compared with a month ago.
Check-in was swift (5 minutes), security (albeit Fast Track) even quicker and best of all… what was there to greet me on the other side but a big World Duty Free sign saying ‘You can now take everything you buy onto the plane’. Replete with nice images of fragrances, cosmetics, spirits and other items, it sent out an immediate and reassuring message to travellers that the recent nightmare was over.
Great stuff World Duty Free. Let’s now all forget the recent blip and have a storming final quarter…
